Apply for a Grant
We provide grants to local programs that support children and seniors in a variety of ways.The Markoly Foundation is proud to make a difference in the lives of those being served by the organizations we help fund. The foundation provides grants for local programs that support children and seniors in a variety of effective and innovative ways.
Application Process
Grant applications must be received no later than June 1st of each year in order to be considered. In addition to the Joseph G. Markoly completed application, which is available for download below, be sure to include:
- A cover letter and/or additional document describing the program or project for which you are requesting funds and how it fills a community need.
- The amount of funding you are requesting and a program budget specifically indicating how the funding will be used if approved.
- The most recent agency budget as approved by your Board of Directors.
- A copy of your organization’s IRS Tax Exempt Letter.
- Page one of the most recent 990 for the local agency applying for the grant. If your organization is part of a national organization the foundation does not require a 990 for the national office, only the local office.
